I had the opportunity to create a complete set of icons and spot illustrations.
Replacing Xing Premium icon
The project began with brainstorming sessions and stakeholder alignment to clarify the message we wanted to communicate. I developed several options, narrowed them to three, and conducted user testing to ensure the new icon effectively strengthened Premium's presence and users felt connected to it.
The previous icon used a hexagon element from the old corporate design. Since the Xing logo mark represents the entire brand, it no longer made sense to associate it specifically with Premium.
I created illustrations in the existing style whenever needed.
